JANICE PINCHBECK (RODDY)

JANICE PINCHBECK (nee RODDY) January 1, 1951 - November 2, 2008 After a lengthy illness, Janice passed away peacefully at the Concordia Hospital at the age of 57 years. Janice was born in Winnipeg where she resided until her passing. She attended Tec Voc and was employed with Cara Industries at the Winnipeg International Airport and with Pastel's Restaurant until her illness forced an early retirement. She was predeceased by Larry Pinchbeck; her parents, John and Gertie Roddy and her sister Donna Nicholson. She is survived by her son Cory Pinchbeck; brother Robert (Eileen) Roddy of Winnipeg and her sister Merle Sexsmith of Surrey, BC. Janice was a wonderful and caring person and had a sense of humour that will be remembered by family and friends. She was always able to find the positive, helping many others through difficult times. She was a loving mother and devoted sister. She will be missed. Cremation has occurred and an interment will occur at a later date.
