LUNNETT WHITE Came to us January 31, 1931 and returned peacefully on November 3, 2008 at the Health Sciences Centre after a brief illness. She was 77 years old. She leaves to mourn, three daughters, Sidoney, Lohanne (Ruel) of Alberta and Angela; six sons, Kenneth (Ruby) USA, Desmond (Blossom) USA, Lascelles, Daniel, Disdale and Wayne of Manitoba; 20 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; brothers and sisters in Jamaica, Canada and USA. To greet her in paradise are husband Samuel; mother Loretta; father James and grandson Jeptha. Born and raised in Alston District in the Parish of Clarendon, Jamaica, Lunnett was a dedicated housewife. She immigrated to Winnipeg in 1983 where she worked as a childcare worker out of her home. This was something she enjoyed very much. A devoted Christian, she attended Calvary Temple for 25 years. She lived a fulfilled life and now she is gone to be with her Saviour. The family would like to thank Dr. Morris, Heath Sciences Centre, Cropo Funeral Chapel and Calvary Temple. Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 10 at 1:30 p.m. with viewing prior at 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Temple, 400 Hargrave St. with Pastor Bruce Martin officiating. Interment will follow in St. Vital Cemetery, 236 River Rd. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Lunnett's memory to CancerCare Manitoba or the Manitoba Diabetes Association. 586-8044
