Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGLADYS MUIRHEAD (nee WONNACOTT) July 30, 1922 October 11, 2008 At rest with her beloved Jack It is with great sadness, but gentle relief, we announce the passing of our dear Mum, Grandma, and Great-grandma. She was the cherished mother to Janis (Ian) McQueen and loving grandma to Ryan McQueen and Gord (Nicole) McQueen and their twin daughters, Brooklyn Maya and Paige Gladys, all of Sherwood Park, Alberta. Gladys also leaves her sister Blanche (Harry) Vickers, brother Frank (Joan) Wonnacott, nieces and nephews, and dear friend Ruth Smith, all of Winnipeg, Manitoba. She was predeceased by husband Jack, parents Frank and Gladys Wonnacott, sister Edith Weger, and friend Cameron Younger. Mum will be fondly remembered for her wonderful sense of humour, keeping us entertained with all her story telling. In her later years she maintained her dignity and content demeanor to the very end. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no service after cremation. The family will gather at a later date for a private inurnment in Gladstone, Manitoba. To Capital Health, we wish to pass on our gratitude for all you have done for our family. Sincere thanks and praise must be given to the outstanding staff of Sherwood Park Care Centre who provided daily compassionate assistance to make Mum's final years as comfortable as possible. If desired, memorial contributions may be made in Gladys' name to Sherwood Park Care Centre, 2020 Brentwood Blvd. N, Sherwood Park, Alberta, T8A 0X1. Dear Mum and Dad: Memories will keep you near. Love, Janis
