VIVIAN (EVELYN) MCLELLAN (nee REILLY) Peacefully, Ev McLellan passed away at River Park Gardens on Friday, October 24, 2008. Ev will lovingly remembered by her daughter Linda (Bob) Flood of Surrey, B.C., son David (Beverley) of Winnipeg and grandchildren Heather (Jeff) Gayman of Toronto, David Flood of Surrey and Meghan and Ashleigh McLellan of Winnipeg. Ev was predeceased by her husband Don (2000) and her parents George (1969) and Sadie (2002) Reilly. Ev was born in Neepawa in 1924 and moved to Winnipeg in 1943. She met her husband to be, Don, while working at the Manitoba Power Commission. They were married in 1946. While raising their two children, they resided in Los Angeles and Dallas for 3 years before returning to Winnipeg in 1956. Ev was employed with the St. James - Assiniboia School Board as a school secretary at Silver Heights Collegiate for a number of years. Retirement years for Ev and Don were spent at The Farm outside of Teulon. They returned to live in Winnipeg in 1997. Mom had resided at River Park Gardens for the past year. A gentle, kind and loving person, Ev will be missed by all who knew her. Cremation has taken place and Mom's ashes will be interred in the Reilly plot in the Neepawa Cemetery at a later date.
