Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJAMES RENNIE CRUICKSHANK It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of James Cruickshank on October 30, 2008 at the age of 44. James will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his Mother Verna; Sister Cheryl and nephew Geoff (Sheldon); Brother Geordie (Tara) and nieces Avery, Maggy and Sally; nephew Tim (Christine) and great-niece Danielle; niece Keri (Scott); his Aunt Betty and family, as well as numerous extended relatives throughout Canada. James was predeceased by his father George, sister Gaye, step-father George, and uncle Cliff. James was born on March 2, 1964. He spent his early childhood in Elmwood, eventually moving to the Westwood area where he grew up and remained most of his life. James graduated from Sturgeon Creek Collegiate in 1982 and went on to create a career for himself in the hospitality industry both in Winnipeg and in Calgary. James was very much a people person and excelled in his career wherever it took him. James made friends very easily and was always willing to lend a hand to someone in need. James will always be remembered as being the life of the party. James was truly a unique individual with a free spirit. James never ceased to impress us with his wit and entertaining personality. This will be forever missed by all those who knew him. Cremation has taken place and a private service will be held. The family would like to extend their sincerest thanks to those who offered condolences and compassion during this difficult and stressful time. Flowers are gratefully declined.
