STELLA BASPALY (nee KIZUK) Stella Baspaly aged, 91 years, formerly of West Kildonan, Manitoba, passed away on Tuesday November 4, 2008, at The Salvation Army Hospice, Grace Hospital, Winnipeg, Manitoba, with her son Leonard and daughter in-law Linda at her side. Survived by devoted sons Ted, who attended her needs daily for years and Leonard (Linda) of Winnipeg, Richard (Donna) of Qualicum Beach, British Columbia, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Predeceased by her loving husband, Michael, and sons David of Winnipeg and Donald (Karol) of Fargo, North Dakota. To the end her quiet grace, grit and dignity proved stronger than her cancer as just days before her passing she was seen pushing her walker to visit with the other patients and sharing produce which her grandson had given her from his garden. Throughout her life she was truly God's miracle. In lieu of flowers a donation in her name to the Salvation Army Hospice, Grace Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society, would be appreciated. The family would like to thank the Doctors and Staff at The Salvation Army Hospice, Grace Hospital for attending to their mother with sincere and loving care
