Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHELEN FAST (nee BRAUN) Helen Fast of Steinbach, Manitoba passed away peacefully with family by her side on Thursday, November 6, 2008 at the Steinbach Bethesda Hospital. Helen was born April 30, 1932 in Blumenort, Manitoba to Heinrich and Margaretha (Brandt) Braun. She leaves to mourn her sudden passing, husband Henry Fast; four brothers, John, Leo, Cliff, Jim and their wives; four sisters, Martha, Tina, Trudy, Naomi and their husbands, one sister-in-law and one brother-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. Helen was predeceased by their infant daughter Margarete Elizabeth, her parents Heinrich and Margaretha Braun, one brother Menno and one sister Elma. Viewing will be Monday, November 10, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. with a devotional at 7:30 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Dr., Steinbach. Funeral service at Evangelical Mennonite Church, 422 Main Street, Steinbach on Tuesday, November 11 at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Heritage Cemetery.
