Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLARRY WAYNE MARSHALL 1947 - 2008 After a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer, Larry passed away in High Prairie, AB, September 20, 2008. He leaves to mourn his wife Pearl, as well as his children, Leslie (Kim), Colleen (Bob), Dean (Yvonda), Delphine, Angela (Keith), Neil (Roberta), Lisa and Melody. He was predeceased by his father, Murray Lloyd Marshall in 1998. Also left to mourn are 17 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, two nieces, his mother Dorothy Marshall of Virden, MB, his sister Trudy Johnson of Winnipeg, MB, and his younger brother Carey (Shirley), of Whitehorse, YK. Larry was born at McAuley, MB and in his adult life he spent time working on farms. He moved to Estevan, SK and worked for Harold Rowe Construction for six years. In 1983, he moved to McLennan where he worked at Falher Alfalfa Plant for close to a year. He later took a job at Carwald Concrete as a truck driver in 1984, and moved to Enilda, AB. Later he opened his own trucking business called Larry's Trucking, hauling vehicles for car dealerships. After being diagnosed with cancer he went to work for Carwald again and worked until August of 2008. Larry will be greatly missed and he was known for being a diligent worker and a man who put his family first. A memorial service was held in Enilda, AB, on September 25, 2008, and was attended by many friends as well as family and his numerous work associates who gathered to remember a life although cut short, was full and rewarding to him. Donations can be respectfully made to the High Prairie and District Palliative Care Unit, or the Canadian Cancer Society in Larry's memory.

Still miss you. I SO appreciate the fun times we had when we were kids. You sure LOVED Mom's cooking and made that very clear!! She talks about it til this day. SO blessed to still have her and we talk about you a lot. She sees the humour, and intelligence of her oldest son. SO amazing, and she will soon be 101!
