ARTHUR ROBERT TURENNE Art passed away peacefully in Nanaimo, BC on October 11, 2008. Born March 25, 1954 to Robert and Irene (Janssens) Turenne, deceased. He attended Provencher Elementary, Louis Riel Collegiate and RRCC graduating in Graphic Arts. Art worked for many years in the printing industry and was an active member of the Belgium Club orchestra. He relocated to the west coast in 1989 residing there until his passing. Art will be remembered for his strength of character, spirit of determination and for being a talented, accomplished musician, artist and graphic designer. He will be forever loved for all that he added to the lives of those he touched. Art is survived by his loving wife and friend Nora Lynn (Baril) Turenne of Winnipeg. Sister Lori Ann (Marvin) Iverson of Fort Saskatchewan, AB. Brother Mark of Victoria, nephew Ryan (Kate) Iverson of Prince George, BC and many caring relatives and friends. A memorial service was held in Fort Saskatchewan, AB on Saturday, October 18, 2008. Donations may be made to the Nanaimo Hospital Palliative Care Unit.
