ANDRIANNA KAITLIN ELIZABETH EVERETT It is with aching hearts and deepest sadness that we announce the passing of our spirited Andrianna Kaitlin Elizabeth Everett on November 5, 2008, after an amazingly determined battle with cancer. Andrianna was 18 years old. Andi leaves to mourn her mother Elizabeth Chodor, grandmother Zofia Rozybowski, aunt Bernadette Rozybowski (John Karpiak), fiancé Robert Alleyn and family, and father Ted Everett, and many family members in Poland. Andi was born on July 2, 1990 and went to school in Regina and Winnipeg. She lived life to the fullest, always surrounding herself with friends and family. She was full of energy and touched the lives of everyone she met. Andi loved playing video games, reading (especially Manga), playing computer games, rugby, music and if it had a skull on it ... Andi wanted it. She was selfless and had a heart that gave endlessly. Andi was the peacemaker. Andi was predeceased by her grandfather, Boleslaw Rozybowski, great-grandparents Leokadia and Karol Rozybowski and Marion and Maria Chodor. To the staff on ward 5B at St. Boniface Hospital (Teccle, Mindy, Jacqui, Brittany, Jocelynn, Jen, and little Jen and all those who are not names but never forgotten) thank-you from me and my family for taking such amazing care, joy and pride in helping Andrianna. A very special thank you to Andi's guardian angel Bonnie Johnson whom Andi loved so much. To Dr. Ralph Wong and Dr. Joel Gingerich words cannot express how much you gave of yourselves to Andi. You honoured her decisions faithfully and respected her as the young lady she was. The unbelievable care and attention you gave her was so beautiful. Prayers are to be held at St. Peter's Church, 748 Keewatin Street at 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 9, 2008. Funeral service is to be held at St. Peter's Church, 748 Keewatin St. at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 10, 2008. Interment to follow at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations for a palliative care room in Andrianna's honour would be gratefully appreciated. See Liz Chodor for details. When I am gone, release me, let me go. I have so many things to see and do, You mustn't tie yourself to me with too many tears, But be thankful we had so many good years. I gave you my love, and you can only guess How much you've given me in happiness. I thank you for the love that you have shown, But now it is time I travelled on alone. So grieve for me a while, if grieve you must Then let your grief be comforted by trust That it is only for a while that we must part So treasure the memories within your heart. I won't be far away for life goes on. And if you need me, call and I will come. Though you can't see or touch me, I will be near And if you listen with your heart, you'll hear All my love around you soft and clear And then, when you come this way alone, I'll greet you with a smile and a Welcome Home .
