Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNE SARA PEELING (WHITE) Anne died peacefully on October 19, 2008 in Winnipeg. She was predeceased by her husband Bill and her sister Betty, and is survived by her sister Edna; son Jim (Rosanna); grandsons, Dylan, Patrick and Tim; and great-grandchildren, Donovan and Hayley. Anne was born in Bruce Mines, Ontario on October 8, 1920. She grew up in Bruce Mines, and in 1946 married Bill Peeling, also of Bruce Mines. Anne was a committed and active member of the Anglican Church in the communities in which they lived in Ontario and across Western Canada. She had a deep love for her family, and for the outdoors. After raising her children, Anne worked with a number of social service agencies, retiring in Winnipeg in 1985, but remaining active and involved in community affairs. She took every opportunity to travel, particularly after her retirement, taking special pleasure in visiting places well off the beaten track. A celebration of Anne's life will be held on Friday, November 21 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Matthews Anglican Church in Winnipeg. In lieu of flowers, you are invited to make a donation to the charity of your choice in Anne's memory.
