Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMURIEL CRUDEN (nee MCDONALD) 1919 - 2008 It is with deep sorrow we announce the peaceful passing of Muriel Cruden, on Wednesday, November 5, 2008, at Lions Manor Personal Care Home, with friend Beth at her side. Muriel was predeceased by her parents Leo and Florence, husband Charles, sisters Hilda and Mary, and brother Gerrard. She is survived by her sister Florence (Robin) and step-son David (Ann) as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Muriel graduated from the Misericordia General Hospital School of Nursing in 1941. Her career started as a flight attendant with Air Canada before doing private duty nursing for many years. Muriel was a long time member of St. Aidan's Anglican Church. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 12, at 2:30 p.m. at Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Avenue, followed by a reception at Lions Manor, 320 Sherbrook Street. The family would like to thank all the 4th floor staff at Lions Manor for their care. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to St. Aidan's Anglican Church, 274 Campbell Street, Winnipeg, MB R3N 1B5 or to the Winnipeg, Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB R3T 0R3.
