PERCY PETER HRYCIW Percy passed away peacefully at his home in Winnipeg on Thursday November 6, 2008. He is survived by his children Angela (Mark) grandchildren Ashley and Madison, Brent (Debbie) grandchildren Dayne and Colbe. He is also survived by his brothers Edwin (Gloria), Stan (Sue) and his sister-in-law Marie. He was predeceased by his parents Michael and Jean and his brother Harvey. Percy was born July 8, 1943 in the country near Inwood, Manitoba. Percy raised his family in Komarno and Teulon, Manitoba while he worked at Drummond McCall in Winnipeg for over 30 years. He enjoyed his trips to Alberta visiting his son Brent and his family on their farm. While there he looked after the farm animals and enjoyed the peacefulness of the country. Percy also enjoyed visiting his daughter Angela and her family in Winnipeg. He loved these times to Bar-B-Que with his son-in-law spending the afternoon reminiscing. Percy enjoyed his Saturday evenings listening to Ukrainian Music from his favorite radio station out of Portage, Manitoba. To Percy, this was something that there was no excuse for any kind of interruptions. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2008 at 10:00 am at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd with viewing half hour prior to service time. Interment will follow.
