Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTHOMAS DONALD (DON) HUME December 16, 1930 - November 9, 2008 It is with heavy hearts that the family of Thomas Donald Hume (Don) announces his passing this past Sunday November 9, 2008. Don was born the oldest of three boys, (predeceased by brothers Peter and Bill), in Hamilton, Ontario to parents Rexford and Doris. Married in 1954 to Donna Ann McKillop, they raised a family of four children, David, Ann (Hickey), Janet (Capozzolo) and Michael. Don spent the majority of his professional career as an Insurance Adjuster residing in Oakville, ON, Fort Frances ON, Thunder Bay Ontario and Winnipeg, MB. He retired from adjusting in 1997. In his youth Don enjoyed playing hockey, later coaching and always enjoyed watching. His other interests included Ham radio (VE3 IEJ), sailing, and astronomy (RASC member). Don was also a talented photographer and has left a legacy of beautiful images for his family. Some of the most cherished memories for the Hume clan were the years spent enjoying the cabin he built outside of Fort Frances, on Red Gut Bay. Don will be missed dearly by his wife Donna and all of his children, their spouses and his grandsons Steven, Sean, Ryan, Taylor, Frazer, Kyle and Harmon. Heartfelt thanks to the staff of Meadowood Manor for their kindness and caring. GLEN LAWN FUNERAL HOME 982-7550
