Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRANK SCHROEDER 1932 2008 On Friday, November 7, 2008 at Boundary Trails Health Centre, Frank Schroeder aged 75 years of Morden, MB formerly of Plum Coulee passed away. He had been living with Parkinson's disease for several years. Frank was born November 17, 1932 near Plum Coulee to Henry and Helen (nee Thiessen) Schroeder and spent his youth on the family farm. In 1959, he married Clara Wiebe. They had 3 children and made their home in Plum Coulee before moving to Morden in 1973. Frank worked as a grain elevator manager for many years, retiring from Manitoba Pool Elevators in 1992. He was an avid baseball player, coach and curler. Throughout his life, he was involved in many community and church organizations, including the Morden Men's Choir. Frank will be missed for his deep commitment to community, church and family. He leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife, Clara (nee Wiebe) of Morden; one daughter, Janice Schroeder and Christopher Wiebe of Ottawa, ON; two sons, Gary Schroeder and Elina Lambert of Toronto, ON, Don Schroeder of Winnipeg and three granddaughters, Talia, Laurel and Anna. He is survived by two brothers, Henry and Sue, Albert and Anna; brothers-in-law, Les and Carl and Madeline. He was predeceased by his parents and two sisters, Hilda and Esther. There will be no viewing. Funeral service will be held on Thursday November 13, 2008 at 11:00 am at Morden Mennonite Church 363 Gilmour St. Interment to follow at Hillside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frank's memory to Boundary Trails Health Centre Palliative Care Box 2000 Winkler, MB R6W 1H8.
