Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryINGEBORG LEX With great sadness, the family announces the passing of Inge Lex. Our sweet, gentle Wife, Mom, and Oma passed away on November 8, 2008. Inge was born in Stuttgart, Germany, on February 11, 1934 and grew up during a war torn era. She overcame many difficulties throughout her childhood of foster care and dreamed of one day having a family and home of her own. Inge came to Winnipeg, Canada in 1953, where she met and later married Josef Lex. Together, in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health, they shared a life full of hopes and dreams. She especially loved their trips to Europe, Hawaii, and Mexico. She and Joe had lots of stories of their wonderful travels. Inge worked at Salisbury House for 27 years. She took great pride in her work ethic, arriving before her shift, always smiling and providing friendly customer service. Her warm, genuine smile earned her a spot in the Smile of the Day column. Mom's true pride and joy was her family. She lived to take care of us and did whatever she could to help out. She loved us all unconditionally. She made family events, Christmas Eve, birthdays, all very special celebrations that we will never forget. The time she spent with her Grandchildren was priceless. Her regret is that she couldn't spend more time with her Great Grandchildren. Mom will be dearly missed by her husband of 53 years, Josef, her children, Brigitte (Patrick) Mulvihill, George Lex, Vera (Rob) McKay, Nancy (Bruce) Delorme, her grandchildren, Jamie (Curt), Leah (Steve), Craig (Charlene), Tyler, Brittney (Mitch), Shane, Brandon, great-grandchildren, Kadence, Brooke, and Ally. Mom is also survived by her sister Hilde Polten and her family. Rest Peacefully, Breathe Easy Until we all meet again We Love and Miss You infinity Please join us for a service of remembrance to be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. on Friday, November 14, 2008 at 12:30 p.m. Chapel Lawn 885 - 9715
