JOHN PATRICIAN Suddenly, on Sunday, November 9, 2008, in his home, John Patrician passed away at the age of 58 years. John will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife Eva, their children; Emily and Matthew (Sarah), his father in law Imre Szakall, his sisters: Joan (Ken) Skelly, Val (Don) Bowles, nieces and nephews: Kevin (Jennifer) Skelly, Karen (Chris) Harding, Michelle Bowles,Ty and Nicole Skelly, Kaylee Harding and many dear friends. John's life touched many people as a teacher and then a Principal with the Louis Riel School Division for 35 years, having retired in December 2007. A few of his many passions were reading, cooking, playing guitar in his band, and racquetball. A celebration of John's life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 14, Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the reception centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of John to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba or the Canadian Cancer Treatment and Research Foundation of Manitoba. I remember John from many years back in the Sisler High School Band. He was a warm and funny guy with an infectious laugh. I'm so sorry to hear that he has passed. My thoughts and condolences go out to his family at this very sad time. - Posted by: Anna Luhowy (Acquaintance) on: Nov 16, 2008
