J. P. BERARD September 1, 1948 - November 14, 1998 It's hard to believe that ten years have gone by, There is still sadness in our hearts and tears to cry. If there was a bridge to Heaven, we would find the way, To go to you and tell you how missed you are today. Special moments have been missed and there's always an empty chair, We would give anything to wave through the door and see you standing there. Your heart of gold, your warm smile and your laughter we still hear, These are some of the things we hold close to our hearts because it feels like you are still near. Our family chain was broken and nothing will ever be the same, But as God calls us one by one, our chain will link again. You're our Guardian Angel and will be in our hearts forever.
