FRANCES MAROLYN CRAIG On Wednesday, November 13, 2008 Marolyn peacefully passed away at Betal Care Home at the age of 83 years. She was the daughter of Percy and Frances Houston of St. Vital. Predeceased by infant son Tommy, she will be lovingly remembered by husband Jim and her eight children, Susan (Mark), Janice (Greg), Jim (Renate), Dan (Brenda), Lori (Jonathan), Kristjana (Ted), Matthew (Delcie) and Kerry (Margot). Marolyn and Jim enjoyed 60 years of married bliss living in Argyle, Arborg, Portage la Prairie and Gimli. They had many trips abroad and enjoyed their many vacations in southern climes and British Isles. They also travelled extensively in Canada. Marolyn enjoyed her many friends and neighbours, cooking, sewing, gardening and church. They belonged to the Westview Dance Club for many years. The family wishes to thank the dedicated staff at Betel Home and especially Lynn Johnson who was always there for her. No flowers please. If friends so desire donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10 - 120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 9Z9 or a charity of your choice. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Cremation has taken place. MacKenzie Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
