Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROSE WILSON (nee DEBRONI) Our Rose has left us here on earth, to bloom each day in Heaven. Peacefully, following a courageous battle with cancer, and with her family by her side, our dear wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend, Rose Wilson passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2008 at the St. Boniface Hospital. Rose is survived by her husband of 54 years, Basil, and her two sons Ryan and Bruce and daughter-in-law Vanessa. She is also survived by her sisters Anne, Judy (Mike) and Elsie (Wes), and her two brothers John (Eleanore) and Mike (Betty), along with numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. She was predeceased by her daughter Kim, her parents Mike and Irene Debroni, and her sisters Mary, Helen, Sylvia, Cathy and Stella. Rose was born in Melville Saskatchewan, and was part of a family of nine girls and two boys. The family moved to Winnipeg in the 1940's and made their home on Manitoba Avenue. It was during this time that Rose met the love of her life, Basil. Together they raised their family on Cork Avenue and opened their home to all of their family, friends and their children's friends. Rose loved to entertain and always came up with some new and exciting dish or a way to present it - you never left her place on an empty stomach! Rose was an active member of the St. Andrew's Social Club and enjoyed her bingo, car rides with her husband Basil to Shooting Star Casino, Seattle and Reno, card games and crossword puzzles. She lived life to its fullest and loved to have a good time, always entertaining us with her great sense of humour. She was a fashionable lady who was an inspiration to all that had the privilege of knowing her. Special thanks to Dr. Li and the nursing staff in Wards 3B and 5B for the caring and compassionate support provided to the family during this difficult time. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 17 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Andrew's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 160 Euclid Ave., with Father L. Ratushniak, C.Ss.R., officiating. Service will terminate at the church. We love you and will miss you you'll be in our hearts forever! KORBAN FUNERAL CHAPEL 956-2193

I remember many good times with Rose, and the Debroni clan, over at Elsie and Wes' house. Carol,( my mom), and Rose both loved to party. They were friends instantly.
