SAVERIO LORIA It is with great sorrow that his family announces the passing of Saverio Loria on November 10, 2008 at Deer Lodge Centre. He was 74 years old. Saverio was born in San Giovanni In Fiore, Cosenza Italy where he met and eventually married Teresa Lopez. From there, they would love and work in various cities and countries before finally setting roots in Winnipeg in 1964. Saverio spent the majority of his life in masonry, which brought him a great deal of pleasure. Friendly, outgoing, generous and always willing to go that extra step for someone else in need, it was his love of children that Saverio will always be remembered for most. Saverio is survived by his wife Teresa; his son Salvatore, his daughter-in-law Ainslie and their two children, Teresa and Saverio. Little Reesie and Rio were especially fond of their Nonno and he will be missed terribly. He will also be remembered by a large extended family in Canada and Europe. Prayers will be said on Monday, November 17 at 7:30 p.m. at Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, November 18 at 10:00 a.m. also at Holy Rosary Church, with Rev. Fr. Sam Argenziano presiding. Entombment will follow at the Chapel of Eternal Memories Mausoleum, 1501 Waverley Street. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Children's Make a Wish Foundation of Canada, 350 St. Mary Ave., Winnipeg, Manitoba R3C 3J2. Thomson In the Park 925-1120
