MARY URBANSKI June 13, 1915 - November 15, 2008 In a celebration of life, we are announcing the peaceful passing of Mary Urbanski, wife, mother, Baba and friend to all. Our mother (Baba) has left us here on earth to spread her winds in heaven. Mary was predeceased by her husband Mike, parents Justyna and Peter Wizniak, her brother Bill Wizniak, and her twin brother who passed away shortly after birth. Remaining here to forever cherish Mom's memories are her loving children, Bill (Aida), Jim and Joyce (Sid). She will also be missed by her grandchildren, Mary-Anne (John), Debi (Cory), Terry (Kim), Gay, Trisha (Kevin), Lisa (Sean) and Kerri (Sergio). Great-grandchildren, whom she adored, Cassie, Alyssa, Brayden, Caitlin, Daimin, Kallista, Hailey, Dylan, Emily and Grace. Special pets, Sadie, Spritz and loving cat Mittzy and longtime friends Linda (Gerry). Baba welcomed everyone to 93 Noble, which was a safe haven for all. She loved to bake and made everything from paska to perogies. Baba was a natural beauty, who never judged a soul, she loved to cook, eat and never let anything go to waste. Besides raising her own family, she also helped raise many other children who became like her own. She enjoyed fishing trips to Snow Lake and her one and only airplane ride to Vancouver. The family would like to thank all of the kind and dedicated staff at Bethania Nursing Home, as well as Dr. Lepp for her kind care. In lieu of flowers, you are welcome to make a donation to the Children's Wish Foundation or the Humane Society. Our queen of hearts touched the soul of all who knew her and will be greatly missed. Funeral service to be held on Thursday, November 20, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home. Interment to follow. Glen Eden Funeral Home 338-7111
