Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLORNA JOAN OZOL (nee MYKETIUK) Peacefully passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2008 at the Kin Place Personal Care Home in Oakbank, Lorna Ozol, aged 74 years, of Oakbank and formerly of Libau was born on June 10, 1934. She is survived by her sons, Donald (Beverly) and James (Wanda); grandchildren, Krystal (Matt), David and Aaron; and her sisters, Evelyn, Valerie (Frank), and Elizabeth (Ivan). She was predeceased by her father Mike, mother Victoria. In 1955 she married Hans Ozol and in 1960, built a new house on the farm site. In 1995, they sold the farm, retired and moved to Oakbank, where she enjoyed her remaining years. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, cooking, playing cards, spoiling her grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In 2005, Hans and Lorna celebrated their 50th anniversary with family and friends. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 22 at 11:00 a.m. in The Lutheran Church of The Good Shepherd, Selkirk with viewing at the church for one hour prior to service. A very special thank you to the staff of Kin Place Personal Care Home. Pallbearers will be James Ozol, Donald Ozol, David Gulewich, Aaron Ozol, David Skiba and Teddy Paszko. In lieu of flowers, donations to Kin Place Personal Care Home. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
