CYRIL LAWRENCE EVERAERT Peacefully on November 13, 2008 Cy passed away at the Grace Hospital after a brief illness. He leaves to mourn his children, Lisa, Tracy, Cyril; brother Robert (Sheila); sisters, Irene Rackham, Mary Burke, Jeanette Hernandez (Richard) and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Gerard and Elsie Everaert. Cy was born on March 7, 1933 at St. Boniface, Manitoba. He worked for many years as a bartender and retired in 1997. Cy had a special interest in track betting and spent a great deal of time solving crossword puzzles, playing cards and enjoyed family gatherings. All family members would like to thank the dedicated staff at Kiwanis Courts for their wonderful care. Funeral services will be held at Blessed John XX III, 3390 Portage Avenue, Friday, November 21 at 1:00 p.m. with Msgr. Maurice Comeault officiating. Interment at Assumption Cemetery.
