Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT (BOB) DAVID WHITEHOUSE With sadness we announce the passing of our Dad and Grandpa Robert (Bob) David Whitehouse on November 17, 2008. Bob was born in 1922 in Transcona where he found his love for the railroad. In 1942 he married Georgina Seys, after which they lived in St. Boniface raising their four children. During those years Bob was an active member of the Service Corp and enjoyed playing the tuba in the military band. After working many years for Swifts he retired around 1974. He will be best remembered for his passionate enthusiasm of model railroading and his story telling. He was a long time member of the Winnipeg Modular Club and the Winnipeg Model Railway Club. Bob is predeceased by his wife Georgina and his son Donald, his sisters Jean and Lil . He is survived by his son Fred his wife Terry, their children, Suzanne, her partner Jeff, Jonathan his wife Lisa, his daughter-in-law Rachel, her partner George, her children, Shannon and Kristen, his daughter Betty her children, Jeffrey and Lindsay Disher, his son Larry, his brother Charlie, and sister Flo. Our family wishes to thank the staff at Kildonan Personal Care Home for all their loving care where he lived for the past two years. It is difficult to describe all the significant events of someone's life. The one most memorable will be the legacy of family that he has left us with.
