Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKENNETH GEORGE GLASSER It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our loving father and grandfather Ken on Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at the age of 81. Ken was predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Emilia and leaves to cherish his memory his sons, Gary, Kevin (Esther) and John; grand-children, Lauren, Derek, Kris and Kathy; as well as sister and brother-in-law, Stephanie and Louis Kutroski. Ken was born in Kitchener, Ontario on June 11, 1927, moving to Winnipeg in 1950. Ken managed the Winnipeg Western Grocers Cash and Carry for the majority of his 37 years with Westfair Foods, retiring in 1991. He was an avid sports fan with great allegiance to the Jets, Blue Jays and Rough Riders. The family wishes to extend sincere gratitude to the many healthcare professionals for their kindness and care over the years. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 22 at Messiah Lutheran Church, 400 Rouge Road, Pastor Carol Janke officiating.
