Date of Passing: Nov 15, 2008
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJUNE (DEBSEY) CLAIRE WILSON (nee TROJACK) Saturday, November 15, 2008 Peacefully, with her much-loved husband at her side, June completed her journey on Earth. June's memory will be treasured by her beloved husband of 42 years Ernie and their children Marla Wilson (Adam Row), Janna (Randall) Shymko, Lori (Chad) Morton, brothers Brian Trojack, John (Judy) Trojack, grandchildren Christian and Isaac, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, all of whom she considered family. June was born June 6, 1945 in Winnipeg and grew up in the Fort Rouge area. She met her husband Ernie at Grand Beach on July 1, 1965 and they married in Winnipeg on October 22, 1966, before moving to Flint Michigan. Upon returning to Winnipeg, June and Ernie started their family with the arrival of Marla in 1970, further expanding the family in 1973 with the arrival of Janna and in 1974 with the arrival of Lori. June always put her family first, supporting her husband and her daughters, no matter what the endeavour. She was an extremely loving and devoted mother and was always there for her three girls. She dedicated her time to her girls, keeping them out of trouble with many activities, including swimming, gymnastics, soccer, brownies, guides, and the Winnipeg Girl's choir. After 15 years as a devoted stay at home Mom, June returned to school to upgrade her skills in the computer field and became the household computer expert. She worked at Continuing Education at the University of Winnipeg for over 20 years, helping to put her girls through university. In addition to the time June devoted to her family, she enjoyed crosswords, gardening, talking on the phone with her brother Brian, and spending time with her family. Debsey's two grandchildren, Christian and Isaac brought much joy to her life and she treasured the time she spent with them. June was an extremely patient, fair and accepting person. She always welcomed friends and family into her home and was always willing to lend an ear. June will always be remembered for her kindness, sharp wit and above all the love and devotion she had for her family. A celebration of June's life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 22, 2008 at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Rev. Brad Elliot officiating. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, gifts in June's memory can be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, Manitoba Branch, 1-452 Dovercourt Dr., Winnipeg, MB R3Y 1G4. The family would like to thank all the staff of GDA 4 and 5 at the Health Sciences Centre for their kind and compassionate care. The family would also like to thank all of the friends and family who have supported us during this difficult time. We love you Mom. Drive Carefully.
