JOHN BORESKI It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of John Boreski on Sunday, November 16, 2008 at Concordia General Hospital. John is survived by his loving wife Martha, daughter Donna (Dave) Reimer, son Marvin, brother Harold, sister Anne and many numerous nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his parents Harry and Katherine, in-laws Mr. and Mrs. Matt Olynyk and brothers Steve, Alex, Fred, Bill, Jim and Nick. John was born on July 16, 1920 in Saskatchewan. John served in the Army from 1939 - 1946 with The Queens Own Rifles of Canada, Winnipeg Rifles and Patricia Pat. He was also awarded the France and German Star. After serving his country he worked for the CNR (Symington Station) from 1947 - 1981. John married Martha Olynyk on February 3, 1949 and they have celebrated 60 years together. John loved to enjoy a round of golf, gardening, train rides and had a love for all animals. As per John's wishes cremation and interment has already taken place.
