DEBBIE HENDERSON-DEBAIE Debbie was taken suddenly from us on November 18, 2008 at the age of 49. She is survived by her husband John, brother Peter, sister-in-law Philomena, nephew Alexander, and sister Mary-Anne. Debbie was a quiet person who loved her pets. She was a consummate homemaker who brought style and beauty to her home and stability to those she loved. She believed in doing the right thing and was tireless in her pursuit of a healthy, happy home. Debbie was born on January 28, 1959 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where she grew up amongst many childhood friends. Later, she joined the Canadian Armed Forces and had a successful career as a supply technician. After leaving the Forces, Debbie joined John and supported his career, moving back and forth between Winnipeg and Calgary. Debbie enjoyed the company of her close friends. Euchre, dominoes and football games were at the top of her list of experiences to share. Her home is full of reminders of her attachment to her family and friends. Pictures adorn the walls reminding us all of the importance of keeping those important people close. A memorial reception will be held Monday November 24, between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard, Winnipeg.
