ARNOLD ROSS 1928 - 2008 It is with great sadness that the family of Arnold Ross announces his passing on November 13, 2008 at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 80. Surrounded by his family Dad passed peacefully. He will be greatly missed by his son, John (Roxanne) and his daughters, Verna, Brenda (David), Karen (Robert) and the mother of his children, Gisele; his seven grandchildren, Joshua, Andrea, Steven, Matthew, Tasha, Chloe, and Devin. He was predeceased by his daughter, Maureen; his brothers, Albert and Tom Allen and his parents, George and Martha Allen that he lost at a very young age. Dad was born on October 11, 1928 in Montreal, Quebec and moved to Manitoba as a young adolescent. Dad was employed by the City of Winnipeg until his retirement in 1985. Dad's pride and joy were his children and very special to his heart were his seven grandchildren. He spent many years at the cottage with his family until the last few years when his health declined. He loved the tranquility of the country, enjoyed nature, and watching the hummingbirds, it was his paradise. Dad is now back in his paradise surrounded by the light, the heavens, and the peacefulness. Dad we love you and we will miss you very much. You will always remain close in our hearts. The family is grateful to those who gave him support and for the compassionate care he received at the St. Boniface Hospital. Respective of Dad's wishes cremation and a private family gathering has taken place. Chapel Lawn 885-9715
