ERIC (WAYNE) BYQUIST On Tuesday, November 18, 2008, Wayne passed away at the Grace Hospital, at the age of 62 years. Wayne was predeceased by his father, Eric Henry in 2002, his wife Rose Donna Munro in 2006, and his mother, Vera Byquist only 11 days prior. He is survived by his sons, Duncan (Angie) and Christopher (Jenine); and his grandchildren Tyler and Paige. Left to mourn is his loving brother Rick (Janis); niece Jana (Graham) and nephew Steven (Denise); his step-mother Millie; his Aunts Lillian, Elva, Esther (John), Chris and Helga; cousins and friends. Born on November 10, 1946 in Winnipeg, MB, Wayne was a graduate of Kelvin High School and moved to Edmonton, AB to work for Weights and Measures Canada as a scale inspector for most of his career. He moved back to Winnipeg in 1990 and worked for SYSCO Foods. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed frequent trips to Northern MB with his late wife Donna. A private family memorial for Wayne will be held in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik's Funeral Chapel, 2157 Portage Avenue at Sharp Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jocelyn House in his and his mother's memory, Jocelyn House Inc., 177 Egerton Road, Winnipeg, MB R2M 2W7. Rest in Peace Wayne.
