Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGORDON ROY CARSON June 24, 1953 - November 18, 2008 Roy passed away with family and friends by his side on Tuesday, November 18 at the Tudor House in Selkirk, MB. Roy was predeceased by his Father and Mother Gordon and Winnifred Carson, nee (Hermanson). Roy's memory will be dearly cherished by his Sisters and families, Janice (Dean) Nicolson, Leslie (Richard) Masters and Gail (Taras) Maydaniuk, Nephews, Bob and Brad, Niece, Tyra (Curtis) Great-Nephews, Nicholas and A.J., and many relatives and countless friends. Roy was born on a farm in Petersfield and moved with his family to Selkirk where he spent most of his life. Roy was a special person who was liked and loved by all who knew him. Roy spent many years attending ARC Industries and in later years shared a home with a group of friends in Selkirk, before moving into the Tudor House. He enjoyed family social gatherings, bowling with his friends from ARC, bowling in the special Olympics, watching TV, musicals and wrestling, looking at magazines, picture books, albums and listening to country music. We would like to thank all those who worked and lived with our brother Roy over the years at ACL and especially like to convey our heartfelt thanks to the management and staff of the Tudor House for all the kind and loving care given to Roy during his stay with you. A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 24, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the Gilbart Funeral chapel, Selkirk. Interment will take place in the Little Britain Cemetery. We love you Roy and you will be sadly missed by all. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in memory of Roy Carson to, The Association for Community Living, 306 Jemima Street, Selkirk Manitoba, R1A 1X1.
