Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNEVILLE RICHARD WELLS It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Neville Richard Wells, a beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother. After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Neville passed away peacefully with his family by his side on November 15, 2008. He was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Lillian; his brothers and sisters, Bill, Stan, Norma, Reg, Doreen and Win. He is survived by his loving brother Russ (Fern), cherished sister Marge, and his in-laws Olive, Barb and Ray. Neville will be loved forever by his wife Aline Rioux; his children, Tim (Anne), Erin (Thorsten), Julia (Lauchlan) and Matthew; his grandchildren, Emily and Ashley; Zoe, Thea and Shae; Jack, Liam and Megan. He will also be greatly missed by his stepchildren, Jackie (Sandy) Simpson, Lisa (Dan) Nemetchek, and Eugene (Danielle)Rioux, and his step-grandchildren Richard (Natalie), Krystal and Ryan; Matthew and Jessica; Rayne and Eugene Jr.; and a great-grandson Alex; and many nephews and nieces. Neville was born in Strathmore, Quebec, on September 11, 1939. As a young man he loved spending time on Lac St. Louis duck hunting with his brothers. He was also a drummer and proud member of the 3rd Battalion, The Black Watch (Royal Highland Regiment). Neville was a natural athlete, a coach, and a lifelong fan of many sports; especially hockey, football and golf. He also loved gardening and basking in the warmth of the sun. Neville is now at peace in the loving embrace of his Mum, enjoying the flowers in Heaven. By request, a private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Surrey Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
