Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEUGENE LECLAIR Peacefully, on Tuesday, November 18, 2008, our beloved father and grandfather Eugene passed away at the age of 86. Eugene leaves to mourn his wife of 64 years, Jeanne and their children Alain (Bonnie), Claude, Paulette (Dan), Estelle (Elton), Richard (Lola), Paul (Kris), Annette (Michael), Anita (Craig), Marcel (Fern), Charline (Mike) and their families. Also left to remember him with love are his sisters Eugenie and Therese, as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Dad was born on November 11, 1922 in Lampman, Saskatchewan. He moved to Manitoba in 1940 and farmed in the Letellier area for many years. Later, he moved his family to Emerson where he owned and operated Emerson Transfer for 24 years until his retirement in 1986. Dad loved his family. He continually expressed this love through his hard work and the many quiet sacrifices that he made over the course of his life. His friendship, wisdom and willingness to give of himself freely will be missed by many. Prayers will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, 505 Brewster St. with Father John Spyrka presiding.
