LECRECIA C. GIL It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lucrecia Gil, Inang Lucring, on Thursday, November 20, 2008. Born in Angono, Rizal, Philippines on March 15, 1937, Lucrecia moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba with her family 1983. A devout Christian, she spent many days in the company of her church group Servants of the Lord. She is predeceased by her loving husband Marcellano and survived by her children Virgilio (Dorothy) Gil, Maria Liberty (Ferdie) Sotto, Gilda (Rufino) Sulit, Lig (Henry) Lubi, Fe (Kelly) Woods and Mac Gil. Along with her grandchildren Vanessa, Vanna, Darrielle, Dianna, Januel, Marife, Jhun-Jhun, Daezerae, Jeff, Helarie, Heather, Junnell, Hector and MJ. Sincerest gratitude is extended to the staff of Victoria Hospital and to those who have enriched her life throughout the years. Lamay will be held on Sunday, November 23, 2008 and Monday November 24, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. Prayers will be said both evenings at 7:00 p.m. at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. A memorial service will follow on Tuesday, November 25 at St. Edward's Parish, 818 Arlington St. at 11:00 a.m. Christian Burial will be held in the Philippines, next to her late husband. She will be greatly missed, but her memory will forever remain in our hearts. All that I am, or hope to be, I owe to my angel mother.
