WENDY MARSH Peacefully, after a long and courageous battle with cancer, the family of Wendy Marsh announces her passing on November 21, 2008 at Riverview Health Centre surrounded by friends and family. She was predeceased by her mother Lillian Walker and brother Robert Walker. Left to cherish her memory by are her husband Dave Marsh, sons Dan and Steve Marsh (Natalie), father Al Walker, mother-in-law Elsie Marsh, brothers and sisters Cliff Walker (Judy Walker), Penny Rowluk (John Rowluk), Keith Walker, Gord Walker (Diana) and Kim Walker as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Born in Winnipeg in 1949, Wendy worked all her life as a hairdresser and loved meeting all the new people who came into the salon. She also loved her home in St. Vital, her sunroom, her gardening and her dog, Lizzie. A special thanks to the Oncology team at Victoria General Hospital and her wonderful friends for their kindness and support through her illness. Cremation has taken place and in accordance with Wendy's wishes, no service will be held. She loved life and would want everyone to remember the happy memories and good times. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Wendy's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St. Winnipeg, Manitoba R3C 9Z9.
