WARREN GORDON MORFOOT December 27, 1957 - November 21, 2008 It is with a most profound sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our loving father Warren Gordon Morfoot. Warren leaves us with his beloved wife Crystal; we his sons, Wade, Wesley, Garytt and Evan; his cherished granddaughters, Aislinn and Kylee; his proud mother Mary; his brothers and sisters, Judy, Tommy, Johny, Kim, Pam and Lorne; his dearest friends, Chuck and Vicki; as well as many nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law, and countless friends and extended family. Warren is predeceased by his father Gordon and his little brother Rod. Dad was not a man whose life can be summed up in so many words. To those who knew him, he will be remembered most for his love for his wife Crystal, his pride for his sons and granddaughters, and his resolve to make everything better for the people around him. Together Warren and Crystal built a home for our family in Dufresne, MB. There, they raised us and instilled in us that hard work will get you everything you need in life and that family is the one thing you will always have. Dad shared with us boys his affinity for animals, his love for classic cars and the joy he took in giving hospitality to good company. It was only fitting that our Dad found his calling in and a passion for public service. Law Enforcement gave him the means to affect a number of communities throughout southern Manitoba for more than 20 years. He finished his career, serving his last 10 years as Chief Constable of the Public Safety Office in Oakbank. We are all more for having known him, his sons will emulate him forever, and he will be dearly missed. Services will be held at Oakbank Baptist Church, Oakbank, MB this Thursday, November 27 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family expresses that it would have been Warren's wishes that donations be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #146, Springfield, in care of P.O. Box 18, Hazelridge, MB R0E 0Y0.
