PHILLIP ROSS SHOTTON With sadness we announce the passing of our Dad, Phil Shotton on Saturday, November 22, 2008. He passed away peacefully in his sleep which was his wish. He was 92 years of age and lived a long and healthy life. Left to mourn his passing are his children, Phillip (Carol), Pat, Heather (Rick), Judy (Glen) and Debbie (Ted), several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Edna (nee Soura) and sisters, Ruth Plaxton, Olive Parkinson, Mabel Watt and Jennie Mart. Dad worked hard all his life and enjoyed playing the fiddle and gardening. A longer obituary will be published in the Swan River Star and Times. Funeral arrangements are being made by Paull Funeral Home in Swan River. The funeral will take place on Saturday, November 29. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to a charity that supports the homeless.
