PIETERDINA (DINY) JANTINA NAULT It is with great sadness that we announce, our beloved mother Pieterdina Jantina Nault, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2008, at the age of 81. Diny will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Shirley and Sharon (Douglas); grandchildren Dean (Melanie), Karen (Dane ) and Paul (Joanne); her two great-grandchildren Kennedy and Tristan; brother Kees (Zwany); sisters-in-law May (Soli), Catherine and Marlene (Manfred); Rose (Bill); brothers-in-law Leo and Clarence (Carolyn) as well as numerous nephews and nieces. She is predeceased by her husband of 61 years Albert; baby daughter Linda, son-in-law Ken, brother John, sisters Jo and Nel. Diny was born in Assen, Netherlands where she met and married her lifelong companion Albert, a Canadian soldier of the 24th field ambulance. Diny came to Winnipeg, as a war bride, in February 1945 where they raised their two girls. Diny found great joy in the happiness and successes of her family. She delighted in hosting family and friends for delicious dinners and funfilled evenings. Of all her crafts, needlepoint was her passion and her families' walls are adorned with her beautiful creations. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend who touched the lives of many throughout her life. All who came to know her felt truly welcomed. She will be dearly missed. Our heartfelt gratitude goes to the doctors and staff at Concordia ICU and ward 3 for their excellent loving care and support during her last few days. Memorial service will be held on Friday, November 28, 2008 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations in Diny's memory can be made to the Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3A 1P6.
