Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNE STEFANCHUK (nee MANDZIE) On Sunday, November 23, 2008, after a brief illness, Anne Stefanchuk (nee Mandzie), passed away peacefully at St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, MB. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her son, Robert; daughter-in-law, Jennifer; grandchildren, Justin and Robyn; her sister Margaret Hadubiak (Rudy), brothers-in-law, Maurice Stefanchuk (Alice) and Walter Stefanchuk (Pat), as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Peter; parents, John Mandzie and Wasylena (Mandzie) Dykun; step-father, Mike Dykun; and her brother, Bill. Anne was born October 13, 1922 in Stuartburn, MB. She married Peter Stefanchuk on October 30, 1948 and together they farmed and raised their son, Robert in Stuartburn. Always active in the church and community, Anne will be remembered for her kind and generous spirit. Although she never travelled far, she touched the hearts and lives of everyone she met. Anne's talents were many ranging from the ability to grow beautiful flowers and bountiful gardens, to the creation of wonderful Ukrainian Easter Eggs, to the amazing cooking her specialties being her jams and jellies and of course perogies. These talents were lovingly shared with family, friends and neighbors. Prayer services for Anne will be held Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at Vita Funeral Homes Vita Chapel Vita, MB at 7:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church in Stuartburn, MB on Thursday, November 27, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev.
