PAUL LARAMEE Passed away peacefully on November 22, 2008 at the Lasalle General Hospital in Montreal at the age of 74. Beloved husband of 52 years to Simone Faucher. Dear father to daughters, Diane (Michael Trudeau), Lorraine (John Lee) and Lynn (Justin Walker). He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Paige, Matthew, Ryan, Brendan and a grandson on the way. He leaves to mourn his brother Maurice Laramée and his sister Alice Backman, along with his nephews and nieces from Montreal. He will be fondly remembered by his family from Winnipeg, Simone Taylor, Terry Novak (Alex), Noëla Cancade, Joe Laramée (Rose), Leo Laramée (Margaret); his sister Ella Bousquet from Vancouver and sister Jean Taylor from Calgary. Paul was predeceased by his father Edmond Laramée; his mother Louise Lachance; sisters, Irene Dame, Laurie Kalinsky and his brother André Laramée. There will be a private viewing on Friday, November 28, for family only, at E. J. Coutu Co. Funeral Directors, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church, 778 Archibald, on Saturday, November 29 at 1:30 p.m. Family will receive condolences in church half an hour prior to the service.
