Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALBERT (AB) CARMODY WARDROP Peacefully on November 25, 2008 in Kingston, Ontario. Ab leaves his best friend and wife of 52 years, Marilyn, and his five children - Robert (India) of London, U.K., Brenda (Peter Miller) of Winnipeg, Elizabeth (Bill Dalton) of Kingston, Patricia (Doug Thomson) of Toronto and Brian of Prague, Czech Republic. Ab cherished his time with his 11 grandchildren - Bryan, Mike, Meagan, Nick, Alex, Mat, Max, Meg, Kate, Cella and Clare. He is survived by his brother, Dennis Wardrop, of Winnipeg. Ab retired in 2004 after a successful 57 year career in banking and industrial/commercial real estate. Not only did Ab have a strong work ethic, but he also had a magnificent passion for supporting the endeavours of others, whether it was business, sports or the arts - the greatest of role models. The family will hold a private funeral mass. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ab's memory may be made to Providence Care, 275 Sydenham Street, Kingston, Ontario K7L 1G7. I was reminiscing and wondered why I never found Ab's name in the retirement section of CIBC magazine. So I googled and sorry to hear four years later that he had passed away. Marilyn I enjoyed the few years I worked with Ab and we both have fond memories of the both of you. Sorry we found out so late. We wish you God's best and all our love.
