MICHAEL BERTHELETTE Suddenly on November 25, 2008, while lending a helping hand, Michael was called to his eternal home. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Edgar and Evelyn, sisters Susan (Ray) and Shirley (Percy), along with his one brother Darrel, special cousin Jill, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Michael is predeceased in death by his great-niece baby Hope. He also leaves behind his special friends, John, Margie, and Sandy. In earlier years, Michael had worked for McGavin's as a baker for a large number of years before finally retiring to leisure where he was able to spend time with family and friends. Michael was a kind and loving person who always thought of others before himself, but was especially fond of his prayer group. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Michael will be held at St. Ignatius Parish, 255 Stafford Street, on Monday, December 1 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations to Siloam Mission would be greatly appreciated.
