DALE ANN CROMPTON (nee BELLAMY) It is with sincere regret that we announce, after fighting through years of lupus, surviving breast cancer, and being treated for kidney disease, Dale Crompton was taken from us after suffering a major brain hemorrhage. She passed peacefully in the early hours of Wednesday, November 26, 2008 while in the care of St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, MB. Remaining to forever cherish Dale's memory are her loving husband Neil; son James; stepdaughter Daralea; and her granddaughter Morgan; sisters Terry, Irene, Darlene, Gail, Lisa and Joanne; brothers Tom, Chuck, Norman, Brian and Joseph. Dale leaves us after only 54 years in this world, and made the best of what she had right up until her final days. She was never one to sit idle for any length of time. When she wasn't working, she could often be found volunteering for the local community centre, where she served on the board, worked events, and assisted in the organization of the community fair. Dale enjoyed the people she surrounded herself with. Family, friends, and co-workers meant the world to her, and filled her heart with happiness. In her spare time, she enjoyed doing crafts such as knitting, sewing, and cross-stitch. She leaves this world to join those that departed before she did. Her mother, father, mother in-law, and father in-law will be waiting to welcome her with open arms, and she will greet them with the warm smile of which we are all so familiar. A viewing for the family will be held on Monday, December 1 at Wojcik's Funeral Chapel 2157 Portage Ave from 6:30 p.m. till 7:30 p.m. For those who wish, viewing will be held prior to Dale's funeral service which will be held on Tuesday, December 2, at 1:30 p.m. in the Starbuck United Church, Starbuck, MB, with Rev. Cathy Maxwell, presider. Interment will follow in the Starbuck Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dale's memory to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, Manitoba Branch, 1 452 Dovercourt Drive, Winnipeg, MB R3Y 1G4 would be greatly appreciated.
