JOHN THIESSEN February 3, 1936 - November 29, 2008 With loving family by his side, at Brampton Civic Hospital. Husband of Verna Val for 51 years. Dear father of Terry (husband Paul Lamoureux), Kelly (David Harrod). Predeceased by his son John Jay J.Jay and parents John and Katrina Thiessen (Cornelius Klassen). Proud grandfather of Christine (husband Richard Martin), Jennifer, Lindsay, Tyler, Ted, Todd and great-grandfather of Amy. Brother of Betty (John Skelly), Eve (Terry), Harold (Barb) and Peter (Jeanette). Son-in-law of Kay Zayik. Brothers-in-law, Walter Zayik (Louise) and Fred (Jennie). John will be sadly missed by those who knew him. Family and friends will be received at the SCOTT FUNERAL HOME Brampton Chapel 289 Main Street North, Brampton (905-451-1100) on Wednesday, December 3, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, with a memorial service to be held in the Chapel at 12:00 noon.
