MARGARET WASIK April 20, 1925 - November 29, 2008 With family by her side, Margaret passed away on November 29, 2008 at the Concordia Hospital at the age of 83. Margaret was born in Stenen, Saskatchewan and met her husband Paul on her birthday April 20, 1943 while shopping on Portage Avenue in Winnipeg. Margaret also worked at Misericordia Hospital in her early years, and raised their 10 children. She always looked forward going to her day program at Park Manor Nursing Home, never missing a day. Margaret will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends for her kindness, gracious manner, sincerity and good humour. She also had a fondness for her pets and farm animals. Remaining to forever cherish Margaret's memory are Ken (Cindy), Leonard (Linda), James, Terry (Diane), Alan, Marjorie (Brian) and Russell. As well as all the nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous friends. Margaret leaves this world to join those that departed before her. Husband Paul, children Beatrice, Melvin, and Wendy and her brothers and sister. Mom's favorite saying I Love All You Kids . A very special Thank-you to all the Volunteer's, Lucy and all the staff at Park Manor Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 5 at 2:00 p.m. at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Winnipeg.
