VERNA THICKSON (nee FICK) August 24, 1916 - December 1, 2008 Verna passed away peacefully at Trillium Lodge in Parksville, BC. at the age of 92. Verna was born in Winnipeg, MB. She spent her youth and most of her married life in Brooklands, later moving to Stonewall, MB. She moved to Parksville BC. in 1995 to live with her daughter Doreen. Verna is predeceased by her first husband Clarence Thickson; son Keith Thickson; second husband Robert (Ernie) Fick; parents Lamont and Ethel Fisher; sister Hazel Olver. Verna is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Doreen and Kenneth Lawter, of Parksville BC. You're home now mum. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
