EDWARD JAMES TRAVERSE (EDDY) September 27, 1986 - November 29, 2008 It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved brother uncle, nephew and grandson, Edward James Traverse on Saturday, November 29, 2008 at the age of 22 years. Edward will be lovingly remembered by his loving sisters, Candace (Shayne) Traverse of Grand Rapids, Nikita and Reba Flett of Pinaymootang and his brother Dwight Letandre, Special Paternal Grandmother and mom Flora Traverse of Lake St. Martin First Nation, Maternal Grandparents Kennard and Alma Letandre of Pinaymootang. His special niece Shaney and nephews, Shayden and Shayne Jr. of Grand Rapids. Eddy will also be remembered and sadly missed by his loving aunties and uncles of Lake St. Martin First Nation and Pinaymootang First Nation, great-uncles, great-aunties and cousins too numerous to mention. Eddy had a very special place in his heart for his cousins and cared for each in a special and unique way. Eddy was predeceased by his dad Glen James Traverse in April, 2001, mom Doreen Brenda Traverse in January 2005 and infant brother in 1983. Wake services will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 4, 2008 at the Day of Pentecost Church at Lake St. Martin First Nation. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, December 5, 2008. Both services will be held at Day of Pentecost Church of Lake St. Martin First Nation with Donald Gould officiating. Interment to follow at the Lake St. Martin Cemetery. Dear family, friends and relatives, thank you for showing your care and compassion for the loss of our loved one.
