DELBERT (DIBBIE) GEORGE BEBEE Peacefully, on December 2, 2008, Delbert passed away at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 83 years. Remaining to forever cherish Del's memory are his loving wife Evelyn of 52 years of marriage; daughters Barbara (Bernie), Rhonda, Gail, Georgina (Mike); and grandchildren Terrence, Tracy, Mark, Wade, Kyle, Dustin, Michael and Holly; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and childhood friends Billy Reagan, and Eric Guile. He was predeceased by his mother and father (Elizabeth and Charles), and four brothers and four sisters. Born on December 18, 1924 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Dad joined the Armed Forces at the age of 18 years. He fought overseas with the Canadian Armoured Corps, 8th Reconnaissance Regiment. He was employed with the Winnipeg School Division #1 for 34 years. After retirement dad enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved a good game of Sequence or Cribbage and really enjoyed his trips to the Casino. He looked forward to our Friday family gatherings and always made sure there was a treat to go with a cup of tea. Dad's wish was to have a private family service. This will take place at a later date. Thank you to the staff at the Health Sciences Centre for the excellent care over the past years. A special thank you to the staff of the Central Dialysis Unit. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Health Sciences Centre Foundation, or a charity of your choice. Those we love don't go away, They walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near, Still loved, still missed and very dear. We will miss you Dad, be at peace.
