(nee MACKRELL) May 5, 1922 - December 3, 2008 It is with deep sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Nora McKay at the Villa Youville in Ste. Anne, Manitoba on December 3, 2008. She was predeceased by her husband Cam McKay. She is survived by her sister Aileen Frain, sister-in-law Enid Jones, brother-in-law Greg McKay (Joan), many nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada, Ireland and Australia. She taught school in Zhoda, Sherridan, Roland, Pilot Mound and Winnipeg. Cam and Nora owned and operated Torchwood Kennels for a number of years. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Villa Youville, Sister Rioux and Dr. Duval for their care and compassion. In keeping with Nora's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date.
